Hi there, I'm Michelle!

I'm a transformational health and life coach and a mom to two beautiful kiddos.

I want to let you in on a little secret...

For a long time I struggled with patience when it came to my kids.  

You're probably thinking, 
"Of course you did, you're a mom!" 

But the thing is, I felt like I had it all together and was a very patient person when I was around other people (especially when I was teaching Kindergarten), 
and yet for some reason at home, when my kids started acting up, I would lose my sh*t and became that short-fused and snappy mom that I didn't want to be. 

It was effecting my relationship with my kids and I would be looking forward to bedtime, and then feeling guilty for feeling that way and missing out on time that should've been happy time that I won't get back.   
When I started practicing mindfulness and really being aware of my emotions and what was going on around me, everything completely changed.  

I am happier, sleep better, and have more patience for those "unpleasant moments" and can remain calm, which in turn helps my kids to cool down a lot faster so we can move on from it and go on enjoying the rest of the day. 

Mindfulness has also helped me to really be in the moment and appreciate those simple everyday moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, like the cute little grin my daughter gets on her face when she's trying to teach me to hula hoop and can clearly see my struggles.  It's activities like hula hooping that I now do because I am truly enjoying them, and not because I feel like I "should go and do something with the kids".
  
Mindfulness has been a game changer for my parenting and I want to help other moms who are feeling the same way I did, experience the life-changing benefits of it.
